I Would Love It, If.......

I would love it, if two people..........just two people on the expressway knew how to drive this morning!

I would love it, if I could figure out why/how my boss is taking another week long vacation!

I would love it, if the price of gas wasn't stuck at "WHAT THE F***!!!!".

I would love it.............. if the man I dreamt about last night, was real!

I would love it, if it would love me.

What would you love?

Peace

I would love it, if I could call out from work everyday --- like I did today and still get paid for it! [Me: Raising my glass to wishful thinking]

Better yet, I would love it, if I could hit the mega millions and not have to worry about going to work for a long time.

I would love it, if I could buy my own home (paid in full of course)!!

I would love it, if I could pick up and move someplace nice and tropical.

Uh oh, am I rambling again?? lol

@ ms, behaving,
Okay! You think big! I like that! And here I am with my lil' pitiful wish-list.

Color me embarrassed :)

I would love it if I could get up out of this chair and roll right on back to the house and get a few more hours sleep.

I would love it if I could hit that daggone lottery tonight.

And, I would love it if I could have those four children that I really wanted to have back in the day.

Nic said...

@ sugar,
pt 1. Me tha hell too. This place is killing me softly. All I need is 80 hours and I'll be good :)

pt 2. Again with the lottery! Why didn't I think of that.

pt 3. Awww four, did you want boys and girls or just all the same sex? Did you have any?

@ both,
Why is it that the only people I see winning lotteries are farmers, out in the middle of nowheresville USA.

Miss Snarky Pants said...

Girl you wanna tell me you ain't know that the lottery is rigged??

They always got somebody from west- bubba-where-in-da-hell-ever winning all those daggone millions.

Miss Snarky Pants said...

BTW, don'tchu go beatin' yaself up about NOT --- thinking of hitting the lottery!!!.

Shyt truth be it told, you're probably the only one of us who has accepted the realization that it just ain't gone happen.

I would love it if flirting with other women was biblically ok.

I would love it if I had thought of registering www.beer.com and www.busines.com back in 1990 (they both sold for MILLIONS in the past few years).

I would love it if my children didn't have to deal with 95% of the stuff they'll face growing up (see JMW's post from yesterday, day before?).

And I would love it if they could all attend private school.

I would love it if I could get fit again like I was in 1982. Ok, 3/4 as fit.

I would love it if everyone read my real blog and thought it was the best thing since The Wire came on TV and clamored to pay me to write it.

I would love a lot of other stuff, too, but I grow weary.

I would love it if I didn't grow weary so easily.

Nic said...

Okay Snupe, your first one was so funny to me I had to stop and type this comment. Didn't even read the rest yet. Don't know if it was suposse to make me laugh, but I did.

@ms behaving,
I still want some money though :) Why can't I "hit it big". You know the other day I was so close to just getting up and driving to Atlantic City. Of course with my luck I would've lost everything I owned (which ain't much), and my cousins gold teeth.
NOW I GOTS GOLD FEVER!!!!!!

@ anonymousnupe,
I love your blog, but I guess that's not enough!!!!
ps. How old are you?
You can e-mail me that one.

I would love it, if people actually knew how to drive. Me and my sister almost got in two accidents yesterday because of negligent drivers.

Nic said...

@ anointed1ne,
These people, these people! I am sick to death of people who drive as if they are the only ones outside. Glad you and your sister are okay.

I would love for my business to be so successful that I can work just for me.

Nic said...

@ rose,
What dod you want to do? I read over your profile, but there was nothing to tell me exactly what your plans were. Whatever it is....good luck!

I would love it, if I could get a raise.

I would love it, if I had vacay time and did not have to wait a year.

I would love it, if I had a new place NOW. LOL.

I would love it, if I lost 15 lbs.

I would love it, if I could have some decent dates.

Nic said...

@ shai,
Yes lawd! Raises all around, and don't even get me started on the
"decent dates" thing. I'm still scared cause of this ..... http://prioritybooks.blogspot.com/2007/07/hard-question-to-answer-this-is-such.html

Might have to copy/paste that but take a look at it if you get a chance. The blog is called "Lessons Learned".

I would love if…

It was illegal to be a moron or an idiot.

President Bush would just freaking resign.

We all decided to ignore celebrities.

We all boycott BET.

Unknown said...

Shoot....I would LOVE it if someone like ME could win the lotto rather than some old fart.

Nic said...

@ ms. confessions,
Oooh, I like your list. I would love it if your number 1 were a reality, and Bush was then thrown out of office! LOL!

@ black mamba,
same here! All I want is like 300,000,000.00 I'm not greedy ;)

I would love it, if I could get here on time (WHERE WAS I-AGAIN).

Hum... I'm going to try not to go deep, but I'll second MOST of what nupe said...HAHAHA!

I would love it if, by some miracle of God, I was able to make all the needed repairs in my house.

I would love it, if my hair locked REAL fast (it's taking too long)

I would love it, if my son started to SHOW what he TELL about his future and put forth effort in getting things done.

I would love it, if I got to have a girls night out with YOU, ms.b, op.d and deep...(we'd have a BALL)

Nic said...

@ JMW,
Yeah! Where have you been? LOL! It's cool. I know you got work and a buncha other blogs to visit.

Do you know if Snupe's working on another post. HE BETTER BE! (RAISING MY FIST TO THE SKY)

I didn't know you were locking your hair. Girl, I was about to cut mine all off the other week, on some waiting to exhale stuff. MEN! LOL!

Are you talking about the baby or the eldest? Either way, you're a good momma. Just keep doing what you're doing. I'm sure everything will work out eventually.

ALL OF US! That would be fun!! I would even behave ;)

Peace.

Nic and JMW, I have a couple of post knocking around in my head, but I have to be really careful how I execute them. I always have to be mindful of keeping my identity secret in this community so as not to have to hurt somebody if they show up angry in my driveway after one of my scathing postings. With the two posts I'm pondering that's going to be very difficult to do given the circumstances. But I'll work it out somehow. The truth must be told. I really appreciate the support you two have shown, especially given that my stuff is so far removed from your communities. But I guess we're all part of the customer service Diaspora, huh?

I am so feelin' Ms. Confessions BET boycott. My wife and I were watchin' a couple of nights ago just shakin' our heads. It's confirmed: Bob Johnson is a sellout, black people will do any degrading thing for money, and Viacom is pimpn' us like we came up short on our corner! Uh, “Hell Date”? What the hell are we thinkn’? Well, at least the show has provided gainful employment for a terribly underserved demographic: Black midgets in demonic garb.

Waiting on you to do a post on BET.

@ organized,
Shoot I'd love to work from home everyday. But at, while I'm here, I get to sit under THEIR air conditioners all day for free.

"I would love it if I had found this blog earlier. "

I would love it if people actually said what was on their mind, instead of hiding it from everyone else. I think there would be a lot less hurt in the world. I think I'm lucky because I can get away with it on stage. But in all honesty, I think it would cause a lot of problems in the beginning, but then taper off and flatline, thereby increasing the happiness in the world.

I would love it if I could finish my book by the end of the year.

I would love it if corporate america wouldn't cringe @ the sight of my big black silhouette.

I would love it if Texas wasn't a hundred and hell degrees for one minute!

@ kiki,
Hi, glad you were able to stop in. It’s crazy that the only good men I’ve seen are in my subconscious. LOL!......Sad really.
P.S. You dreamt about him too? Did he look a little like Lorenze Tate ala Love Jones? If so, stay away……HE’S MINE!!! :)

@ lucy,
Oooh, an entertainer! What exactly do you do? I hope comedy. Anyhooo….
Cool idea. I hate having to guess what someone is thinking about me. Especially men! I’m 26 friggin years old and the men I mess with are still punks about saying what’s on their minds. We definitely need more happiness in the world.

@ fave,
Whatca writing bout’???? Nosey, aint’ I? :)
Don’t think I’ve made it to that level, but it seems like corporate America will cringe at anything that’s not from their ANCIENT cookie cutter.
I have family in Houston, Texas. All I can say is “The heat…..OH THE HEAT!”

Nic said...

@ miz jj,
I almost missed you there boo-boo.

All the way across the country...well continent? Dang! You're a long way from home. Sorry to hear that. I really hope that you are able to find some type of deal. They should give tickets away for people who are willing to travel such ridiculous distances :) Did you try expedia.com?
